SEAMLESS SAFETY RUBBER FLOORING

Photos from recently completed seamless safety rubber flooring installed at Green Community West @ Dubai Investment Park. Project work carried out for Al Bayader Irrigation & Contracting Co. and Consultant’s M/s. Khatib & Alami.   British Standard EN 1177:1994 (BS EN 1177:1994) focuses on the testing methods and requirements of impact absorbing playground surfaces. As part of testing the surface of children’s playgrounds, critical fall heights in relation to the level of impact attenuation are calculated.

The project involved a design based on a rubber thickness of 80mm i.e. designed for play equipment with Critical Fall Height of 2.1 meters.

Designs have been created using EPDM color granules to match the shapes and patterns approved on the project.
